About the Ambassador Program
We take applications for our Ambassador program all year long. Every three months, we select a new class of Ambassadors based on several criteria. Including their genuine passion for RockPorch, their personal alignment with RockPorch’s mission, vision, and values, and other factors.
We strive to ensure each Ambassador class represents a diverse range of interests and passions. Importantly, follower count is NOT a consideration in our selection process.

About Jen… love sharing how we adventure with our two dogs, Mando and Ori, while also balancing a normal 9-5. Whether it’s camping on the weekends, hiking after work, or squeezing a road-trip into a long weekend, we’re making the most of every day. And we want to encourage others to do the same! We try new things, share about it, and fail a lot. I guess that makes us mediocre outdoor enthusiasts 😂, and that’s totally okay. Because the outdoors can be for anyone and everyone!

If you could be anywhere in the world, where would you be, and who would you be with?… I’m a homebody at heart! As long as I have my dogs and husband with me I’m perfectly content to be home on the couch or somewhere outside hiking.
What do you love about being a Creator? Connecting with people through relatable experiences. Whether it’s a weird habit our dogs share or an outdoors fail that we’ve both experienced.

Catch me outside in Norway – If I could be anywhere right now, I would transport to Norway and take my time camping around the country with my partner. You had me at open camping next to incredible waterfalls and dreamy landscapes.

What do you love most about being a Creator?
What I love most about being a creator is that incredible moment when someone tells me they planned a trip or visited a place because of my suggestion. I became a creator because I fell in love with discovering new places, and I cherish having a platform to share those experiences. My goal is to inspire others to go out and explore, creating their own unforgettable memories.

Passions… I really love getting out in nature. There is nothing like relaxing in the middle of nowhere with a beautiful view. Even when it’s not all rainbows and unicorns (I burned my finger pretty badly cooking burgers and have never made waffles without overfilling the griddle) it’s still so much nicer than doing nothing at home.

Hidden Talent… I have a very special connection with animals, and yes, including wildlife. You’d have to hike with me to see it. I’ve played tag with squirrels, gotten help from a deer when I got lost in California, guided by a lone reindeer in Lapland through snowfields with hidden rushing rivers, etc etc
Passions… I share about thru-hiking, skiing, packrafting and adventures in my truck camper. I also share facts about wildlife and plantlife as well as information about environmental conservation since I work as a environmental conservation researcher. I help people learn how to plan their own trips in the wilderness and how to find “hidden gems” on their own without geotagging.

We’ve always wanted to visit the Alps, but we had such an incredible, short time in Costa Rica together, that we’d head back there any day!

Helping people enjoy the outdoors in a safe manner. Many people in our region explore the White Mountains underprepared and we hope to help inform visitors on proper packing and preparedness so they don’t get caught off guard while in the peaks.
